NOTE: I recently made this recipe, and it was a total hit. This perfect rock & roll worthy White Sangria tastes like a delicious fruit punch, but with the brandy and triple sec, it packs a delicious “punch!” There are many ways to make White Sangria, and several of other fruits you can use. However the lemons, limes, and oranges are a must. You could use sliced strawberries instead of the raspberries, to give this colorful drink a shot of red. A ripe peach or nectarine can be used instead of the mango. However, this exact recipe yields an absolutely perfect blend of flavors.
Ingredients:
–1 sliced Lemon
–1 sliced Lime
–1 sliced Orange
–1 fresh Mango, skinned and cut into cubes
–1 pint Fresh Raspberries
–1/3 cup of Sugar
–1/3 cup Triple Sec
–1/2 cup Brandy
–2 bottles White Wine (Chardonnay, Pinot Grigio, or any combination of 2 bottles)
Instructions:
Slice up the lemons, limes, and oranges, and place in a large pitcher.
Remove the skin of one ripe mango, slice the fruit off of the large pit in the middle, and cut the fruit into small cubes.
Add the sugar, triple sec, brandy, white wine and sugar.
Add the raspberries, and stir.
Place in the refrigerator for at least an hour or two, for the flavors to blend. When it comes time to serve the sangria, stir it again, and place a colorful mixture of pieces of marinated fruit into individual wine glasses, and pour the chilled sangria over the fruit, and serve. Party on!
