Welcome to my website: “Cook Like a Rock Star.” For those of you who don’t know me from the bookshelves, I am author Mark Bego, and I have written over 60 books on rock & roll, Hollywood, and show business. Several of them have won awards and hit the best-seller lists. My biography subjects have included Madonna, Barry Manilow, Martha Reeves & The Vandellas, The Monkees, Whitney Houston, Three Dog Night, Aretha Franklin, Glen Campbell, The Supremes, Billy Joel, Michael Jackson, Elton John, and dozens more.
Although the life stories of all of these subjects are vastly different, there are also several things that they have in common: great music, and their love of great food that is exciting and delicious. In this website I intend on sharing some of my favorite recipes, and the personal recipes of some of your favorite “rock star” celebrities.
I will be adding new recipes as I gather them, “test drive” them for you, tweak them as needed, photograph them, and discover if they ready to share with you. Once they are ready I will be posting them here. I have been cooking since I was a teenager, and I know how to make dishes that I like and want to share with you. I will be including recipes that have flavor and punch. Hopefully you will: “cook like a rock star” too!
Cheers,
Mark
